What We're All About

Tour De Office (TDO) is an office-based cycling challenge that enables companies all around Australia to raise funds for their chosen charity. This unique event focuses on not only making a significant contribution to a worthy cause close to their hearts, but also promoting a healthy and active attitude in the workplace.

For the sixth year running, we are encouraging organisations to host a Tour de Office ride in their workplace, to get employees out of their chairs and give back to the community.

Anyone can participate in this fun and exciting event. A number of stationary bikes will be set up in offices across Australia and the entire event will be streamed live via webcam to www.tourdeoffice.com so friends, family, colleagues and sponsors can catch all the action.

Become Our Newest Volunteer

Tour de Office is on the look out for multiple enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Event Volunteers in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra.

Based in the offices of big-name participants like NewsCorp, Optus, CommBank, McDonald's and more, you'll be assisting with all facets of event management to ensure that the Tour de Office event runs smoothly in your allocated office.

You will be onsite during the event from Monday to Friday to assist in a variety of event management duties, including:

  • Managing the rider calendar;
  • Assisting riders on & off the bike;
  • Taking photos & video footage of the event daily;
  • Providing social media status updates; and
  • Assisting in the general logistics/administration of a not-for-profit event.

These are full time roles working 8.5 hours per day and you'll also need to be available for a half day of training prior to the event.

We are looking for motivated, confident and articulate applicants who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organisational and
attention to detail capabilities. You'll also have a work style that demonstrates integrity and professionalism at all times, as well as being passionate and
enthusiastic about workplace wellness and Australian charities.

Be Rewarded

If you want to gain events and promotions experience in an exciting environment, while also giving back to charitable organisations - this could be the volunteer role for you!

TDO will offer you a fast-paced and intellectually-stimulating work environment, as well as significant opportunities to grow your events and promotions skill set! With many of our volunteers returning after their first year, you'll be sure to love the enthusiasm and friendly team environment that's experienced year after year.

In addition, we are able to provide you with a professional reference and the opportunity to interact with large organisations - some of our volunteers even end up scoring interviews with participating companies!

If Tour De Office volunteering is a university course requirement we will also complete the required forms.

Karon Beattie - Volunteer:

"I decided to volunteer for TDO after I realised a few companies I was looking to join were participants of the event. As a volunteer you have the unique opportunity to work alongside everyone in the business (including executives!) so it's a great networking opportunity.

Aside from TDO being an excellent meet and greet with potential employers, the volunteer experience itself was really rewarding and exciting. There's a fun, competitive spirit between colleagues and you really feel the business cultures of participating organisations flare up at the event!

I loved seeing people come together as a community to work toward a common goal of bettering the lives of others."
