Who We're After

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Recruitment & Shortlisting Specialist to join our Shortlisting and Selection Team in Milton, Brisbane.

If any of the below sound like you, this is your next career move:

A) You're an Internal Recruiter looking for more variety in your campaigns, or looking to branch out into external recruitment;

B) You're an Agency Recruiter looking to move away from the 'sales side' of things; or

C) You've dabbled in recruitment and are looking to step back into the Shortlisting and Selection spotlight.

We are looking for a confident, motivated and professionally presented individual who will bring an understanding of the recruitment process to this position.

It goes without saying, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring your ability to clearly articulate to both candidates and employers. As you'll be dealing with an array of candidates, as well as organisations in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors, it's also crucial you be adaptable and able to liaise confidently with people of all backgrounds.

What You'll be doing

In this varied role you'll be responsible for coordinating recruitment processes and delivering on all facets of the recruitment process as agreed with our clients up-front. This is a unique opportunity that will see you working across a wide range of industry sectors and locations - one day you'll be creating a shortlist for Marketing Assistants in Melbourne and the next, you'll be video interviewing CEO candidates for a role in PNG!

More specifically, here are some of the exciting things you'll tackle on a day-to-day basis:

  • Reviewing and ranking candidate applications using our unique Candidate Management System (SCOUT Talent);
  • Conducting Job Analysis conversations with clients to understand their ideal candidate profile;
  • Designing and executing detailed, role-specific Behavioural Video & Phone Interviews;
  • Performing employment reference checks;
  • Coordinating interview schedules with both client and candidates;
  • Providing clients and our Sales & Account Managers with recommendations in regards to recruitment & shortlisting solutions;
  • Focusing on candidate care, providing candidates with feedback and answering any questions they may have about the recruitment process;
  • Facilitating online behavioural testing; and
  • Designing and facilitating Group Assessment Days.

It's important to note that this is NOT a cold calling sales role. We customise solutions that have been tailored to our client's needs, and we don't charge placement fees. You'll instead be focused on utilising your recruitment skills to find the perfect fit for our clients!

The Perks

For your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with an attractive salary package (base plus incentives), dependent on skills and experience. You'll also love our monthly social nights - picture anything from learning how to paint a masterpiece while sipping wine, to laser tag or bowling - and have the chance to earn your ticket to our annual top performers conference at an exciting international location (this year we're headed to Whistler, Canada!).

And that's not all! You'll find your new role to be extremely enjoyable, varied and interesting. Our open plan, spacious office enjoys full-length views of the Brisbane river and is located only a few minutes from the train, bus or City Cat terminal. We're also focused on the day to day factors that keep our wonderful team happy - fresh fruit and snacks, good coffee on tap and NutriBullets with everything you could possibly want to put in them.

We can offer you a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating work environment, as well as significant opportunities for career growth. We're proactive about developing our people and have a culture dedicated to rewarding success and achievement.
